Manulife Malaysia spreads the joy of giving this Christmas season by fulfilling the wishes of 317 children from ten community homes across Klang Valley.
Manulife Dear Santa 2.0 is all about granting Christmas wishes of underprivileged children, by rallying support from Manulife agencies, staff and the public in the bid of bringing awareness and giving back to communities in need.
Manulife Malaysia’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mark O’Dell commented, “There is no greater joy, or sense of fulfilment, than in the act of giving and putting a smile on the faces of these children. At Manulife, we uphold to the values of serving our communities and constantly encourage the people around us to get involved. With Manulife agents, staff and the public participation, we are able to spread the Christmas cheer a little further this year.”
Following the success of the 2016 initiative, this year, a microsite which contained the wishes of children in Klang Valley was developed as a way of engaging staff and the public. 200 wishes were fulfilled by Manulife agents and another 117 were fulfilled by staff and the public.
This year’s event was held at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac). A total of 400 people including children from the homes and contributors gathered where the gifts were presented to the children personally by the contributors.
Gho Han Jaa, Chief Marketing Officer & Pricing Officer of Manulife Insurance Berhad said, “We want to cultivate a spirit of giving among our staff and the people around us. These little acts of kindness go a long way in reminding the people around us that there are many who don’t even have access to basic necessities. Manulife Dear Santa 2.0 is our way of granting some of these wishes to the children who need it most.”как растушевать тени на глазахсумки для ноутбука киев
