AirAsia X is planning to operate seven flights a week to Honolulu, Hawaii from Kuala Lumpur via Osaka, Japan beginning Aug 16.
Currently, the long haul, low-cost carrier operates four flights a week from Kuala Lumpur to Honolulu, with a stopover in Osaka. This comes due to robust demand from Southeast Asia, with the airline running a promotional fare of RM700 one-way inclusive of taxes.
