MTA AND IBFIM LAUNCHED THE REVISED TAKAFUL BASIC EXAMINATION (TBE) FOR THE INDUSTRY

Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) & IBFIM (Islamic Banking & Finance Institute Malaysia) launched the revised Takaful Basic Examination. The launching was officiated by Encik Elmie Aman Najas, Deputy Chairman of MTA /CEO of AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd.

The revised Takaful Basic Examination, the licensed-to-practice certification for Takaful agents was successfully published on 15 September 2018.IBFIM, as the TBE administrator since 2012, with MTA have embarked on the initiative to review the TBE contents from January 2017 to May 2018 to ensure that it is updated in line with the regulatory requirements, guidelines as well as current practices of the Takaful industry.
