Semi-Annual Review: FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia June 2019

Kuala Lumpur, 17 June 2019 – Bursa Malaysia Berhad announced 16 new additions to the constituents of the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia (“F4GBM”) Index.

The F4GBM Index measures the performance of public listed companies (“PLCs”) demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) practices. The latest review in June 2019 there are 16 new addition and 1 exclusion from the index bringing to total number of constituents to 71.

Bursa Malaysia and FTSE have been conducting outreach programmes to encourage companies to improve their ESG disclosure and practices as the increasing of the new addition of the constitutions reflect the result of these programmes.
