KUALA LUMPUR, 9 October 2019 – Alan Miltz, the founder of ‘Cash Flow Story’ shared his financial knowledge and insights during a business event “Show Me the Money” organised by YYC Group and OCBC Bank Malaysia to inspire businesses in mastering cash flow management. The event attracted nearly 500 business owners.
Miltz believes SMEs should shift their focus from solely concentrating on profit and loss, and instead master cash flow management which is the key element in justifying business sustainability.
He pointed out that businesses should understand that cash flow is affected by marketing, operation, financial cost and accounts receivable; hence business finance strategy should be discussed based on these crucial elements.
Miltz’s financial analysis techniques have become a global standard for businesses, CPAs and banks, and are now being used in 30 countries by over 20,000 customers and leading banks. He is co-author of the global bestseller Scaling Up by Verne Harnish, in which he contributed the financial component.
“Throughout our 45 years of serving more than 20,000 clients to date, we have discovered that many entrepreneurs face cash flow issues that are either unknown to them or left unattended to. In severe cases, these issues may even lead to the collapse of the business. As such, it is extremely important for entrepreneurs to build a solid cash flow management system right from the beginning to avoid financial crises.”
