KUALA LUMPUR, 10 March 2020 – According to participants of a focus group discussion organised by Standard Chartered Malaysia, women entrepreneurs would like more advice and education when it comes to financing and marketing their business.
Many also cite the need to have more events that are tailored to them.
The focus group discussion was facilitated by the Standard Chartered Malaysia bank is to learn and understand the challenges and needs of women entrepreneurs in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
More than 30 participants, including Christy Ng, Founder of Christy Ng Sdn Bhd, Stephanie Chai, Founder
of The Luxe Nomad, and Deborah Priya Henry, Co-founder of Fugee School, shared their personal experiences and views of being in the industry before ending the night with a cocktail session.
