Kuala Lumpur, 9 April 2020 – FWD Takaful Berhad (FWD Takaful) has announced RM5 million special fund, aptly named as MOH FWD MY Heroes Fund. This is part of the initiative for Ministry of Health (MOH) frontliners in recognition and appreciation of their role in the fight against the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The six months complimentary benefits period starts from 1 April 2020 until the special fund is exhausted. All MOH frontliners will be entitled to a compassionate benefit upon death due to COVID-19 or other causes.
The team also provide a relief allowance if the MOH frontliner is hospitalised due to COVID-19, and this relief allowance will be extended to their immediate family members too.
