KUALA LUMPUR, 14 May 2020 – CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad are bringing Hari Raya cheer directly to customers via the CIMB Bazar Siberturahim (the Bazaar). Themed #SuasanaBerbezaKekalBersama (a different kind of atmosphere together), the Bazaar offers exclusive deals for CIMB customers in a special Raya atmosphere in their online shopping experience.
1-hour session videos showcasing offerings from more than 50 local businesses will be featured live on CIMB’s Facebook page from 14 to 17 May 2020 at 3pm.
Offers include deals from merchants like Zalora, Focus Point, Dyson and Happy Fresh to well-known homegrown names like Chef Ismail and Tanamera, in addition to various micro-enterprises of textiles, handicrafts and irresistible kuih raya.
The initiative is part of the groups’ effort to help businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to reach out to more customers and provide an additional alternative to businesses.
As an extension to CIMB Bazar Siberturahim, the Bank’s customers will also enjoy exclusive and specially-curated deals on retail, dining, fashion, food deliveries, groceries, hospitality and e-commerce throughout the Raya period.
Small and medium enterprise (SME) customers will not be missing out on the festive cheer as the Bank is also offering exclusive business solution packages from partners such as Shopmatic, Exabytes and BillPlz Payment Gateway under CIMB’s Digital Retail Programme.
This new kind of norm does not mean customers cannot shop in a true Raya atmosphere as the the group bring customers an enhanced experience browsing for the right deals digitally.
CIMB group adds that the shopping experience will be an immersive one, enhanced by videos from the vendors, such as local designer Radzuan Radziwill, and even musical interludes from the local entertainment scene.
Besides shining the spotlight on local businesses, selected corporate social responsibility causes and entertainment will also be featured, in keeping with the spirit of Raya.
