PETALING JAYA – As lockdowns have taken place across the country and even the world to curb the spread of the COVID-19 disease, a majority of businesses have been forced to quickly adapt to work from home or remote working arrangements. Even as businesses, offices, and storefronts are reopening, a number of organisations are still adopting a remote workplace.
While burnout in offices is not unheard of, the ‘new normal’ poses a new challenge: burnout when working from home. Where business owners, team leaders, and managers have had the luxury of direct interaction with teammates and colleagues in the past, remote working presents the challenge of balancing between managing team productivity and micromanaging.
Towards this end, the Communications Leadership Academy (CLA) presents its webinar, “Build Highly Productive and Engaged Teams in a Remote Workplace”, hosted by Cheah Kar Fei, Work Culture Expert and Managing Partner of CLA. The one-hour interactive session, scheduled for June 23, will share key strategies and tools for businesses to bring the best out of their team in staying highly engaged and productive, without micromanaging them in the remote workplace.
Kar Fei’s work on HR transformation and workplace culture around the world has been featured on Forbes, TEDx, BFM, and many more.
CLA is part of the Recovery and Reinvention practice of Perspective Strategies, a strategic communications and issue management consultancy. CLA delivers leadership-centred communications solutions for individuals, brands and organisations to thrive and succeed in the future of work.
