KUALA LUMPUR – Digitalization is rapidly emerging as the main factor for success in today’s changing global economy. Furthermore, the unprecedented times caused by COVID-19 have accelerated the need for businesses to digitalise.

As a major player in the economic development of Southeast Asia, Malaysia has increased investment in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) fields including big data and information security in recent years, aiming to support the digital transformation of key sectors such as education, healthcare, government, manufacturing, energy, and transportation.

H3C, a Leader in Digital Solutions in China, hosted a virtual media session today to share its vision of global business innovation and digital transformation as well as discussing its plans for the Malaysian market on 22 October.

Gary Huang, President of the International Business and Senior VicePresident of H3C, together with Richard Xie,  Vice President of the International Business of H3C, Wang Chen, Vice President of the International Business of H3C, and Rockies Ma, Country General Manager of H3C Malaysia presented to the Malaysian media on building Malaysia’s digital future.

In the virtual media session, H3C shared it aims to cater to the ICT demand in Malaysia by providing a full  portfolio of digital infrastructure products and offers a comprehensive digital platform that includes cloud computing, big data, interconnectivity, information security, new safety, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G solutions, as well as the end-to-end technical services.

H3C has a big track record of facilitating digitalisation and has worked with many large corporations in China with clients across multiple industries.

As for global partners, H3C has partnered with regional distribution companies specialising in connecting digital solution providers with local businesses, to provide Malaysian businesses with an integrated software platform for cloud authentication, cloud application, cloud management and cloud Operations & Maintenance (O & M).

This solution aims to reduce operation and maintenance costs as well as improve the quality of network operation equipment management, network optimization and intelligent O&M for customers &  wired and wireless networks.

“The global economy is digitizing. We’re witnessing changes happening within weeks and months which in normal circumstances would have taken years of planning. Wherever you live and whether you work in retail, travel or tech, your world has changed.”

“The pandemic has highlighted the need for digital solutions to everything from healthcare provision to e-learning, as well as artificial intelligence in cybersecurity and, in the original keystone of 21st-century digital interaction, peer-to-peer social engagement,” said Gary Huang.

“We welcome the news that Malaysia will bring about a comprehensive plan on the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0) and Digital Roadmap. We have a proven track record globally in helping businesses in their quest for business innovation and digital transformation. We look forward to achieving the same success in Malaysia.”
