KUALA LUMPUR, 6/7/2021 – Homegrown e-wallet Boost is once more partnering with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) for the Shop Malaysia Online (SMO) campaign to encourage Malaysians to support and shop online at local businesses. SMO is a government initiative led by the Ministry of Finance under the Belanjawan 2021 eCommerce Program. The objective of this campaign is to enable e-commerce adoption among local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and aspiring entrepreneurs while encouraging Malaysians to shop online.
In conjunction with SMO, Boost will be running a #ShopMemangOnz campaign until 31 st December 2021 for users to enjoy cashback with extra 4 times (4X) Boost Coins for every transaction and discount vouchers of up to 80% at participating online partners. The #ShopMemangOnz campaign also serves as an important support to drive digital adoption for consumers, as well as amongst local sellers and businesses to enable them to sell online.
To inject further excitement to this campaign, Boost will also be running a three-day only ‘Online Boost Day’ on 6 th to 8 th July. With a minimum spend of RM50 in a single transaction, Boost is rewarding up to 8 times (8X) Boost Coins when users spend at any of the 13,000 Boosted online partners such as Watsons Online, McDelivery, KFC, EASI, MoreFun, WOWShop, SenQ, HappyFresh and many more.
