KUALA LUMPUR – Money Compass Media, Max Capital Management Holding Ltd, uLearnMONEY, and Celik Wang yesterday organised a virtual soft launch event for Save & Invest 2021 and The Wave Media Project via Zoom and streamed on Facebook Live.
“With the theme ‘Managing Personal Finance in Time of Pandemic’, Save & Invest 2021 will provide a platform and solutions for the financial industry to reach out to public consumers, investors, and fellow peers, in order to provide financial advisory and solutions,” the organisers said in a statement.
The event will also provide a platform for fresh graduates to apply for job opportunities in the financial services industry.
The features of Save & Invest 2021 include a Virtual e-Fair, Webinars, Interview Sessions, Career Talks, Cashflow & Family Games, a Video Contest, and a Job Matching Platform, among others.
“We hope that Save & Invest 2021 will help the public especially in terms of financial literacy, cash flow management, and knowing how to build emergency funds and enable them to address immediate financial challenges by matching with relevant financial and digital solution providers,” said Ms Amy Seok, Organising Chairman of Save & Invest 2021 and The Wave Media Project.
Together with the Save & Invest 2021 soft launch event, the soft launching of The Wave Media Project, which includes the MyMalaysia Yearbook & Award, was also organised yesterday.
“The Wave Media Project is a series of interviews with 100 Malaysian corporate leaders sharing their sustainable business stories and how they overcome the challenges of the pandemic. Along with The Wave Media Project, the organisers will be publishing The Wave hard-copy 2020/2021 yearbook and recognise 100 corporates, government agencies, NGOs, and business owners with the MyMalaysia Award,” remarked the organisers.
“Having knowledge and experience in managing personal finance especially during this pandemic is so crucial since many people were not prepared for such occurrence to happen in their lifetime,” said Adj. Prof. Ts. Maxshangkar, Founder & Group CEO of Max Capital Management Holding Ltd Group of Companies.
