KUALA LUMPUR, 22/7/2021 – Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia has appointed Zarir Bin Mohd Rawi as Director Retail Banking, Nur Lynn Lau Binti Abdullah as Chief Operating Officer, and Lum Kok Huat as the Head of Legal. These appointments are in line with the Bank’s strategy to grow its business in Malaysia. With an even stronger senior leadership team, Al Rajhi Bank marches towards its vision of becoming an award-winning Islamic bank in Malaysia.

Zarir was most recently the Chief Operating Officer, and led the transformation in Operations.
The Bank’s appointment of Zarir highlights his leadership to lead the retail business and to unlock its full potential given his diverse experience in consumer banking. Prior to joining Al Rajhi Bank, Zarir held senior positions in Bank Negara and CIMB Bank. In his new role as the Director of Retail banking, Zarir will enhance the Bank’s propositions to capture the robust market opportunities in the Islamic finance sector.
