KUALA LUMPUR – Yayasan Prihatin Nasional, Malaysia Literacy in Financial Education Association (MyLIFE), Federation of Malaysia Business Associations (FMBA) and uLearnMONEY had organised the Keluarga Malaysia Musical Concert 2021 on Malaysia Day, September 16, via Zoom and streamed on Facebook Live with outstanding support and success.
Riding on the theme of ‘Keluarga Malaysia’, the national-level event aimed to raise funds for the MyLIFE Food Bank & Youth Financial Education CSR campaign and also to foster the spirit of unity among Malaysians during such challenging times.
The Keluarga Malaysia Musical Concert 2021 was also attended by Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Wira Hajah Mas Ermieyati Binti Samsudin who lauded the efforts of the organisers for putting together a memorable musical event to showcase the patriotic spirit of Malaysians on Malaysia Day.
Datuk Wira Hajah Mas Ermieyati Binti Samsudin said, “As we are ready to head to the “PEMULIH” phase which is the recovery phase of the pandemic, we believe the entertainment and event industry will inspire and motivate many audiences to be positive and aggressive again, in their pursuit of all aspect of their lives.”
“Through the beautiful songs today, we take this opportunity to also say thank you to the frontliners for their contribution and sacrifices. They are indeed Malaysia’s heroes,” she added.
The Keluarga Malaysia Musical Concert featured live online performances by talented musicians of different ages from all across Malaysia, and they are Kay Sik, Nathalia Athena, Puteri Azliyana, Tuan Mazlina and Mr Rafiz (known as SATWO), Liew Jian Xu, Daphne Chai Ming En, Lee Zee Ting, Jacquline Sim, Aisyah binti Hishamudin, Penny Chan, and Jinv Wong.
Being one of the strong supporters and collaborators of the Financial Education Network (FEN), Keluarga Malaysia 2021, which was officially launched on 14 September 2021, aims to teach and raise the awareness and knowledge of all Malaysians on the importance of having basic financial knowledge, regardless of their age, race, and background. Equally important is to promote a united community and foster strong Malaysian unity.
“In the spirit of a united community, this event will lend a positive impact towards nation building as well as empower our Malaysian society by elevating their financial knowledge. With Keluarga Malaysia 2021, we hope that the spirit of unity and good financial values can be taught and fostered amongst all Malaysians,” said Jess Ling, Deputy Organising Chairperson of MyLIFE.
