PETALING JAYA, 20 September 2021 – Amidst the on-going development of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad (HLM Takaful) continues to support and protect its customers with the enhanced COVID-19 Complimentary Special Benefit Programme 2.0. Customers with the individual medical plan from HLM Takaful can claim hospitalisation reimbursement in the event they are admitted to private hospitals for treatment of severe cases of COVID-19.

Hence, we have opened up another avenue for our customers to seek the best medical care through our panel of private hospitals for COVID-19 treatments for those under Category 3, 4 and 5. In addition, the RM1 million cap on the COVID-19 Complimentary Special Benefit Programme 2.0 has been lifted so more customers can have peace of mind with the availability of this protection.
We understand that COVID-19 may impact our customers financially and to this end, we stand ready to assist them with the HLM Takaful Contribution Payment Relief Programme 3.0. Eligible customers can defer their Takaful contributions for a period of 90 days while maintaining their Takaful coverage.” added Mohd Asri Omar.
In support of the COVID-19 nationwide vaccination efforts, HLM Takaful has also extended its HLM Takaful Pro Vax Campaign until 31 December 2021. The campaign provides complimentary daily hospitalisation and compassionate benefits if a person suffers from potential side effects of the COVID-19 vaccination.
