KUALA LUMPUR – Yayasan Prihatin Nasional, Federation of Malaysia Business Associations (FMBA), Malaysia Literacy in Financial Education Association (MyLIFE), and Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation will be organizing one of the most anticipated awards ceremonies within the SME community, the MyMalaysia Awards Charity Night 2021 which is scheduled to be on November 25 at Dewan Tun Abdul Razak, Menara Kembar Bank Rakyat and will be officiated by YB Tan Sri Hj. Noh bin Omar, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives.
Riding on the theme ‘Semangat Keluarga Usahawan Malaysia’, the event is open to all sustainable brands that are pursuing for success, recovery, and resilience in these difficult pandemic times. Nominations are also open to homegrown Malaysian companies with initiatives that highlight the excellent work of the company that have exhibited exemplary achievements in areas of corporate social responsibility (CSR), patriotism, leadership, business core value, innovation, business activity, excellence products & brands, and many others.
The event is also organised to raise charity funds for Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation, Yayasan Prihatin Nasional and MyLIFE to raise awareness on breast cancer disease, education on entrepreneurship, and financial literacy respectively.
The target awardees include brands and companies from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), corporations, enterprises, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, influencers, and media companies.
The ceremony will be hosted by Mr. Adi Afendi, a motivational speaker, emcee skills trainer, and coach. The honorable panel of judges include Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dato’ Richard Koh, Founder and Group CEO of Only World Group Holdings Berhad, Dato Sri Azman Ujang, Former Chairman of Bernama, Mr. Maxshangkar, CEO of Max Capital Management (MCM), and Datuk Grace Chia, an experienced banker, Director of Mission Esprit Group, and council member of SME Association Malaysia.
Some of the award categories of the MyMalaysia Awards 2021 are the SME Awards for SMEs, Corporate Awards for Corporates, CSR Awards for NGOs, Appreciation Awards for Government Agencies, and Recognition Awards for the Media.
Applicants are required to submit their details, mission and vision statement, core values, products, services, website link, and Facebook link in the nomination form. The awards ceremony applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience in their business area and are active in patriotic initiatives. The deadline for applicants to submit the nomination form is on November 15.
