KUALA LUMPUR – The application for the Financial Management and Resilience Programme (URUS) is extended until March 31, 2022 or until the expiry of the flood relief assistance programme for eligible B50 customers who are on banks’ flood relief assistance programmes.

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said although economic activity has been allowed to continue, the central bank acknowledged that many still needed some breathing space before they could stand on their feet, especially given the latest floods.

“The URUS application period extension aims to do just that. Speak to your banks if you need more information or more customised assistance plan,” BNM said via its Twitter account.
