The Organising Chairperson of UNIEC 2022, Ms. Amy Seok, said that this 3-day event was an exciting experience for the UNIEC participants as they have been working hard to prepare themselves to get to this point in the competition.
“Our competition has been critical to each team’s growth as the students get feedback from our 16 competition judges, led by our UNIEC Chief Judge, Mr KC See. The judges had guided and helped to support the students throughout their UNIEC 2022 journey in which they learn real-world experiences as entrepreneurs in line with this year’s theme, that is ‘Navigating and Unleashing the Potentials of Young, Aspiring Entrepreneurs,” Seok said.
Seok also added that the main objective of the competition is to expose undergraduates to a real entrepreneurship journey and guide them in developing their entrepreneurial skills and experience.
Through UNIEC, the student will benefit from the experience of real involvement on the entrepreneurial journey of online and offline retail business and marketing, acquiring skills in developing business models, business plans, branding development, website, digital marketing, social media promotion, and retail marketing.
The Retail Shop Competition for UNIEC 2022 officially started on September 23 to 25 from 10am to 10pm at Malaysia Grand Bazaar. Many guests and visitors from all walks of life came to visit the shops of UNIEC participants in supporting and getting to know the budding aspirations of young entrepreneurs from our various local universities.
