“This cooperation combines local expertise with cutting-edge technology,” said Carota General Manager Mr. Hiroisa Nagayasu. “Through our collaboration with Aqtor, we will provide comprehensive solutions across diverse fields—including digital signage, medical equipment, smart factories, agricultural machinery, and the automotive industry—to jointly shape the digital future of Japan.”

With nearly 20 years of experience in the Japanese market, Aqtor possesses extensive industry knowledge, a strong customer base, and a nationwide service network. Its expertise in serving major Japanese companies, along with its deep understanding of Japanese corporate culture and decision-making models, will facilitate the deployment of Carota’s advanced OTA solutions.

“Japanese companies are actively pursuing digital transformation to address challenges such as an aging society and labor shortages,” said Aqtor President and CEO Shigeru Masui. “Carota’s OTA technology perfectly complements our existing services, enabling us to offer high-value, intelligent solutions that meet our customers’ specific needs.”

This cooperation will combine Carota’s expertise in OTA technologies—including wireless updates, remote monitoring, and smart diagnostics—with Aqtor’s established market presence and customer network. The synergy will achieve:

Intelligent Solutions Across Industries: Implementing smart interactive digital signage, remote monitoring of medical equipment, and predictive maintenance in smart factories.Transformation of the Mobility Industry: Addressing Japan’s labor shortage through the automation of agricultural machinery and construction vehicles, and ultimately targeting the mainstream automotive market with software-defined vehicle solutions.Enhanced Efficiency and Innovation: Enabling remote monitoring, preventing unexpected downtime, reducing operational costs through FOTA deployment, and accelerating the adoption of innovative technologies.

The two companies have established a phased development plan, beginning with the creation of demonstration cases with Aqtor’s existing customers, followed by expansion into the mobility industry, and ultimately targeting the automotive industry and smart city projects.

“This strategic alliance is an important milestone in Aqtor’s development,” added Aqtor President and CEO Shigeru Masui. “We believe that this cooperation will be a key driver of our growth and transformation over the next decade, enabling us to help Japanese companies thrive in the digital age.”
