Now in its second edition, TIWF 2026 has expanded its exhibition space by 51% compared with its inaugural edition in 2024, bringing together more than 400 brands represented by 200 companies from 19 countries. The significant growth reflects the expanding scale of the exhibition and growing international interest in Thailand and the wider ASEAN woodworking and furniture market.

The industry itself is undergoing significant transformation, driven by the need for greater production efficiency, automation, digitalisation, resource efficiency, raw material traceability and more environmentally responsible manufacturing. Across the region, manufacturers are increasingly adopting advanced technologies and production processes to improve productivity, develop higher-value products and strengthen their competitiveness in international markets.

Supporting a Sustainable Wood Economy

Ms. Darika Saranket, Advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, said:

“The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is pleased to once again join as a host organisation of TIWF 2026, as the woodworking industry plays an important role in both economic development and the transition towards more environmentally responsible growth.

Promoting the sustainable use of plantation and economic timber, alongside responsible forest resource management, is an important approach to achieving a balance between economic growth and the conservation of natural resources.

TIWF 2026 provides an opportunity to bring together the public sector, private sector, industry stakeholders and international partners to exchange knowledge, technologies and approaches to industrial development. This collaboration can support the continued advancement of Thailand’s woodworking industry and the wider ASEAN region towards responsible and sustainable growth.”

International Participation Reflects Regional Market Potential

Mr. Ludger Müller, Managing Director, IEC Messevertriebs GmbH, said:

“The growth of TIWF from its inaugural edition in 2024 to 2026 reflects the strength of the market and the growing demand for technologies and solutions within the region’s woodworking and furniture industry.

The 51% expansion in exhibition space and the participation of more than 200 companies from 19 countries demonstrate the momentum behind the exhibition. The growing international participation also highlights the potential of Thailand as a business hub connecting technology providers, manufacturers and industry stakeholders across ASEAN.

We would like to express our appreciation to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Forest Industry Organization, the Royal Forest Department, the Faculty of Forestry at Kasetsart University, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), and all partners whose continued support has contributed to the growth of TIWF.”

Connecting Global Technology with Thai Industry

Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., said:

“The growth of TIWF 2026 reflects Thailand’s opportunity to attract international technologies, manufacturers and industry players and connect them with Thai and regional markets.

We see TIWF as more than a platform for business opportunities between buyers and sellers. It also serves as a gateway for international technologies, machinery and innovations to connect with Thai businesses, creating opportunities to improve production efficiency, develop higher-value products and strengthen the competitiveness of Thailand’s woodworking and furniture industry.

By bringing technology providers, manufacturers, buyers and industry professionals together, TIWF can help accelerate technology exchange and create new business connections that support the future development of the industry.”

Technology and Innovation Across the Woodworking Value Chain

TIWF 2026 showcases technologies and solutions across the woodworking and furniture value chain, ranging from wood-processing machinery and automation systems to materials, surface solutions, fittings and hardware, software and factory management systems.

The exhibition responds to manufacturers’ growing need to improve productivity, reduce waste, increase precision and develop products that meet evolving market requirements.

Beyond the exhibition floor, TIWF 2026 features a programme of industry forums and knowledge-sharing sessions addressing key issues shaping the future of woodworking and furniture manufacturing. These include the Sustainability Masterclass Forum, Design Talk by Baan Lae Suan, AHEC Forum, Wazzadu Forum and ASA Forum, covering topics including sustainable manufacturing, design, hardwood applications and timber certification.

The Carpentry Masterclass provides hands-on learning opportunities focused on professional woodworking techniques, while the Product Highlight Showcase presents selected products and innovations from exhibitors in Thailand and overseas.

A Growing International Network

TIWF 2026 is supported by 23 associations across 6 countries and 25 media organisations from 14 countries, further strengthening its international industry network.

The participation of manufacturers, technology providers, buyers and industry experts from different markets creates opportunities for Thai businesses to discover new technologies, establish international partnerships and gain insights into production approaches that can be adapted to improve efficiency and add value.

For international participants, the exhibition provides a direct connection to Thailand and the wider ASEAN market, supporting new business relationships and greater access to one of the region’s important manufacturing bases for woodworking, wood products and furniture.

With its expanded scale and broader international participation, TIWF 2026 aims to strengthen connections between global technology and ASEAN manufacturing, while supporting the industry’s transition towards more efficient, innovative and sustainable production.

The Thailand International Woodworking & Furniture Exhibition 2026 (TIWF 2026) is taking place from 16–18 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Halls 5–6, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani. Admission is free of charge.
