Global Fitness Brand Signs Lease for Second Bangkok Location with Singha Estate, a Leading Thai Real Estate Developer.

BANGKOK, Oct. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — World Gym Corporation (TWSE: 2762), Taiwan’s largest fitness operator and owner of the global World Gym brand, today announced that it has signed a lease for its second Bangkok club at S-OASIS, a commercial and office development by SET-listed Singha Estate, an international real estate developer and investment company. The announcement closely follows brisk presales of its first Thailand club at Samrong, which signed over 1,000 presale members in just two weeks, and is the initial phase of an aggressive plan to open 30 fitness centers in the kingdom in five years.

Spanning more than 3,000 square meters, the S-OASIS club is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2027 and is expected to serve office workers, corporate tenants and residents in the surrounding urban community. The agreement reflects World Gym’s strategy of partnering with established property developers to secure locations in major commercial and mixed-use developments.

John Caraccio, President of World Gym Corporation, shares his vision about Thailand and its importance in the company’s international growth strategy: “We have ambitious plans for Thailand and see the market as our beachhead for growth across Southeast Asia. We are working with major real estate groups, including Singha Estate, to accelerate our expansion and establish our clubs in prime commercial and mixed-use developments. Our goal is to build a strong, sustainable presence across Thailand while bringing World Gym’s global fitness heritage to more local communities.”

World Gym Samrong, located at Imperial World Samrong in the Bangkok metropolitan area, launched presales in late September 2026, offering members access to an internationally recognized fitness experience featuring high-quality strength and cardio equipment, functional training zones and technology-enabled member services.

Sivilai Pinsuwan, General Manager of World Gym Thailand, said, “Surpassing 1,000 presale members in just two weeks demonstrates strong pent-up demand for large-format fitness centers in Thailand. We see significant potential to serve more consumers with well-equipped, accessible fitness facilities that meet their evolving needs. The strong early response at Samrong gives us encouraging momentum as we prepare for our next location.”

World Gym is also bringing HYROX to Thailand. Already HYROX’s largest partner in the Asia-Pacific region, with the collaboration spanning its clubs in Taiwan, the brand plans to extend the partnership to Thailand later this year, entering a market where HYROX Bangkok drew more than 17,000 athletes in March.

Founded in California in 1976 at the iconic Muscle Beach, World Gym has grown into an internationally recognized fitness brand spanning six continents. In 2024, World Gym Corporation acquired World Gym International, taking ownership of the global brand and its intellectual property and operating rights.

With its American fitness heritage and Taiwan-listed operating platform, World Gym is positioning Thailand as a key market in its Southeast Asian expansion. Its planned investment and multi-location strategy aims to establish a scalable network across key urban markets, supported by partnerships with established property owners and developers.
