In conjunction with the event, Phillip Capital announced the strategic alliance between Planplus and FAME Platform, a member of Phillip Capital. PlanPlus, a Canada-based company, develops financial and investment planning software tools, known as Plan-it, and provides industry-leading training for use by financial institutions, professional advisers and educators.
With the strategic alliance, Phillip Capital’s multi-product wealth management platform, known as FAME, will be integrated with PlanPlus’s Plan-it financial planning software, giving its financial planners access to a world-class tool to further create value for investors.
Phillip Capital Malaysia Group Managing Director Andy Lim Say Kiat said in his speech at the seminar that, by end-2012, the company expected its total assets under management to surpass RM2 billion. The company has seen rapid growth in its assets under management, from RM1.1 billion at the start to RM1.5 billion currently. Phillip Capital Malaysia’s shareholder fund stands at RM23.3 million.
