SHANGHAI, April 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Recently, the inaugural Samarkand International Climate Forum was successfully held in Uzbekistan. The event brought together international dignitaries including the presidents of five Central Asian countries and the president of the European Council. In his speech, Dr. Long shared how Chinese cities achieve synergistic benefits in waste-to-energy conversion alongside economic, environmental, and social advancements through WtE technology.

Under a framework agreement with Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, SUS ENVIRONMENT will launch a 2,000-ton-per-day WtE project this year. The project will generate approximately 60 Megawatt of green electricity. SUS ENVIRONMENT will assist Almaty in increasing its waste treatment rate to 80% by 2029.
