The event was jointly organized by HAOSHi Accelerator and Innovate 360 as part of an accelerator exchange between Taiwan and Singapore. Innovate 360 brought the Korean companies to Taiwan, while HAOSHi arranged local company visits and meetings based on their market and partnership needs.

The Korean participants were C.O.K Company, CUTSHION, DOOY, FOOROUN, Delivery Lab, Kyoban and LOBCOL.

Before the afternoon business matching session, the companies visited a Taiwanese food manufacturer to learn about its production capabilities and discuss opportunities in manufacturing, product development and market cooperation.

At the afternoon event, each company introduced its products, business progress and plans for entering new markets. Taiwanese participants included representatives from CDIB Capital, quick-service restaurant chain Dicos and CHC Healthcare Group, as well as food companies, brands, distributors, manufacturers, investors and startup organizations.

More than one hour was reserved for direct networking. Discussions covered potential proof-of-concept projects, distribution and agency agreements, OEM and ODM production, technology adoption, investment and cross-border market development.

For the Korean companies, the program provided an opportunity to hear directly from potential customers and partners and to better understand how business is conducted in Taiwan. Taiwanese participants were also able to meet companies already operating in Korea and assess whether their products, technologies or business models could fit the local market.

HAOSHi and Innovate 360 are agrifood startup accelerators based in Taiwan and Singapore, respectively. By combining HAOSHi’s industry relationships in Taiwan with Innovate 360’s regional startup network, the two accelerators gave Korean companies a clearer view of the Taiwan market and direct access to potential partners.

The Taiwan business matching program was supported by Startup Island TAIWAN.
