It adopts a dual-core model of “architectural light show + super IP tour exhibition” to upgrade district consumption experience, with an immersive trendy play scene built by Pop Mart’s THE MONSTERS family. Combining light art and trendy play, the event energizes Nanjing Road’s trendy consumption and night economy, injecting momentum into Shanghai’s integrated culture, tourism, commerce, sports and exhibition development.
Light Show of No.1 Shopping Center

After string, dance and orchestra performances, guests activated the launch device. The building’s façade lit up, starting a cross-time dialogue spanning nearly a century.
Inspired by Art Deco, the building acts as a time container. The show unfolds in four chapters, telling 90 years of history from The Sun Department Store (1936) to No.1 Shopping Center (2026). Chapter One: The First Light • Modern Glamour, recreating the glamour of “the Far East’s largest department store”. Chapter Two: Department Store Origin • City Light, restoring the neon prosperity of old Shanghai. Chapter Three: Light of Joy • Vibrant Colors, showcasing diverse business formats. Chapter Four: No.1 Shopping Center • Radiant Renewal. Dominated by gold and green, the new “1” VI evolves and finally settles on “No.1 Shopping Center THE ONE LAND”, symbolizing the landmark’s vigorous vitality growing alongside the city.
Pop Mart City Park Carnival Shanghai debut runs at Liuhe Road block. Visitors can join treasure hunts and use “Lianlian GO” for festival check-in and exclusive benefits.
