HONG KONG, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On August 23, the two-day 2026 TMElive International Music Awards (TIMA) successfully concluded at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, China. Produced by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, this year’s TIMA presented a cross-language, cross-genre music celebration for fans worldwide, with comprehensive upgrades across its line-up, venue and scale.

With its high-calibre line-up and expanding international footprint, TIMA brought diverse music styles together in an energetic showcase, delivering a resonant audiovisual feast for tens of thousands of fans worldwide.

Compared with its inaugural edition, the 2nd TIMA made a major upgrade by moving to the 50,000-capacity Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, China, a city landmark designed for major sports and entertainment events. Backed by high-specification stage production, the show combined refined visual design with an impactful soundscape. Tens of thousands of audience members moved to the rhythm and cheered throughout the performances, lifting the atmosphere to successive peaks.

Multiple prestigious international music honours were announced at the ceremony: Stray Kids received International Group of the Year, Charlie Puth received International Artist of the Year, SUPER JUNIOR received The Most Influential International Group of the Year, G-DRAGON “Übermensch” received The International Digital Album of the Year, William Chan received The Asian Crossover Artist of the Year, and MC Michael Cheung Tin Fu received The Recommended Asian Artist of the Year.

Industry observers noted that, in its second edition, TIMA has achieved a comprehensive rise in influence. With sustained enthusiasm from fans in China and overseas, it has become a highly sought-after, phenomenal music-entertainment event.
